Biography

Professor Houwen is kinderarts-MDL sinds 1988 en beoefent het vak in de volle breedte, waarbij er met name interesse is voor leverziekten en genetisch bepaalde aandoeningen van de tractus digestivus.

Wetenschappelijk onderzoek: Ophelderen pathofysiologie van genetisch bepaalde ziekten lever en tractus digestivus en het ontwikkelen van behandelmethoden hiervoor.
